INTERMIXX MAGAZINE ADVERTISING INFO, RATES AND TERMS
FORMAT: The InterMixx independent music magazine is published a maximum of 11 times per year on a monthly or near-monthly basis. Ads are sold by the column inch in this unique "newsmagazine" format. Our page is an 11x17 sheet, so a 24 page InterMixx is equal to a 48 page copy of other similar regional music publications. Our exclusive newsmagazine format retains an 8 x 10 cover and resembles all other magazines in a standard rack. Our cover, back cover and many interior pages are full color.
DISTRIBUTION: Published since 1988, its almost 20 year track record makes InterMixx one of the longest lasting regional publications of its type. It has become widely read by avid independent music fans and industry members alike who know they can find it in hundreds of locations throughout the Northeast, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and also Dallas and Los Angeles. InterMixx is the ONLY magazine included in the shipment of every copy of the very popular Indie Bible that is purchased. Additionally, as one of the very first magazines of its type to fully embrace the internet, InterMixx has been downloaded in its online format an average of 10,000 times per edition since launching online in 1991.
SPECIAL ISSUES: Many editions of InterMixx feature special content, such as our Conference Guide editions, which serve as the official Guides for such prestigious music conferences as the Independent Music Conference, the Millennium Music Conference and other highly regarded independent music events. InterMixx is the only independent music magazine that presents this type of content. These events maximize the readership of our special issues and magnify our distribution. Hundreds of copies of the special edition are used as the event's official Guide and as such, are presented to each and every registrant. Other copies are allocated for increased distribution into venues involved with and supportive of each event. Advertisers for the various conferences appreciate the high graphics and editorial standards, and commitment to excellence that has been a mainstay of the InterMixx independent music magazine since its inception almost two decades ago.

FREQUENCY DISCOUNTS:
When running the same ad (minor copy changes are allowed) for 4, 8, 12, 16 or 24 issues, the following amounts may be subtracted from applicable column inch rate.
4 issues... subtract $1.00 per column inch.
8 issues... subtract $1.50 per column inch.
12 issues... subtract $2.00 per column inch.
16 issues... subtract $2.50 per column inch.
24 issues... subtract $3.00 per column inch.
1 800 MIXX MAG Terms:
1. AGREEMENT. Unless camera ready artwork is supplied, Noel Ramos (InterMixx.com, Inc.) will act as
Agency and create, produce, and place advertisement in the InterMixx Webzine as notated. Advertiser and Agency agree to terms herein.
2. CANCELLATION. In the event of cancellation of the insertion, ownership of all copyrights and
original artwork is retained by Noel Ramos and a cancellation fee for work completed, based upon the ad price and expenses already incurred, shall
be payed by the Advertiser.
3. OWNERSHIP OF ARTWORK Noel Ramos retains ownership of all original artwork, whether preliminary or
final, however Advertiser may purchase reproduction rights of said artwork for other uses through separate agreement with Noel
Ramos.
4. UNAUTHORIZED USE. Advertiser agrees that advertisements created by Noel Ramos for use in the InterMixx Webzine will not be used for any other purpose or altered without separate agreement and additional remuneration to Noel Ramos.
5. CODE OF FAIR PRACTICE. The Advertiser and Agency agree to comply with the provisions of the Code of Fair Practice, a copy
of which may be obtained from the Joint Ethics Committee, P.O. Box 179 Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10017.
6. PAYMENT Payment is to be made in full before Ad Insertion. Advertiser agrees to pay a 1.8% monthly service charge on all overdue balances, and all collection costs and reasonable attorney's fees incurred in the event of nonpayment. Payment can be made through our online storefront at IndieGate.com.
