The "internetwork" is exactly what the name implies, a tight knit artists-centric community connected via new technologies. Joining InterMixx is kind of like joining a consumer advocacy group, such as the AARP for instance.
Keep in mind, when InterMixx first pioneered this concept years ago, the idea was rather novel. It's been tried and accomplished with limited success in varying forms since then, but InterMixx has the longevity and proven trustworthiness.

As a paying member, you will never be charged the $25 per item setup fee
either, so you can save money as you begin to sell your merch through the IndieGate.
Marketing for the storefront. There will be a full page ad in every
issue of the Webzine featuring InterMixx artists and promoting the sale of their CDs, we will also run those ads in other publications on a co-op basis. I'll design the ads and handle all placement.
The storefront will also be vigorously promoted at all conferences and other events.
The Indie Ad Council. I am lobbying for the formation of a non-profit group that will purchase and place generic ads promoting indie music to the general buying populace.
There's more, but I think you get the concept now. The benefits will only keep increasing as our membership grows.
I personally guarantee to you, the independent artist, and member of InterMixx, that I will continue my efforts to provide trustworthy info and contacts, qualified data and resources, and also to continue my efforts to improve and grow the independent music industry, so that more and more indie artists can earn a decent living at their craft.
